WIN a salsa holiday for two!
Calling all dance clubs: show you have a passion for dancing and you and a friend could be jetting off for a week of sun, sea, and salsa!
Dance enthusiast Sharon Walker has turned her passion into a business with the launch of dance holiday specialist, Passion for Dancing.
A keen ballroom and Latin dancer, Sharon noticed a gap in the holiday market when she tried to organise dance classes during her holidays abroad. She discovered there was very little provision of dance breaks for UK holidaymakers and set about creating a travel agency that would meet the demand from dance enthusiasts who want to combine their love of dance with a break in the sun.
Sharon and business partner, Andrew Nelson, have scoured the globe to find expert dance tutors in countries including Cuba, Spain and Brazil. All the holidays are suitable for groups, couples and single travellers and are tailored to suit all levels of ability. A selection of specialist dance cruises is also available.
Dance Today has teamed up with Passion for Dancing to give one lucky dance club the chance to send two members on a seven day dance holiday in Tenerife, or to use the break as a competition prize to raise funds.
There will be two hour-long salsa classes on five evenings of the break which are suitable for both beginners and more experienced dancers. Accommodation will be provided at the 4-star La Siesta Hotel on a half-board basis. And if that wasn’t enough, all the details of the winning club will appear in Dance Today along with a photograph – so get thinking!
